A pesar de estar en activo desde 2015, Hypostasis es el primer álbum de los Doom/Sludge finlandeses Sunniva. Antes publicaron dos EP y un sencillo. El Lp con una duración de cuarenta y tres minutos contiene seis temas, donde brindan una pesadez y brutal embestida al mismo tiempo que ofrecen pasajes conmovedores y sentimentales en un compacto paisaje sonoro. Ritmos monolíticos junto a riffs atronadores acompañado de una voz áspera y agresiva.
