Midnight Messiah – The Root Of All Evil

Midnight Messiah, es una banda británica  de Metal clásico de los 80, formada por Paul Taylor y Phil Denton. Antiguos componentes de Elixir, banda conocida por su disco Son of Odin, para muchos considerado uno de los mejores discos del post-NWOBHM. Midnight Messiah con su Lp debut The Root Of All Evil parece retornar donde lo dejaron con Son of Odin, una verdadera respuesta actualizada al clásico de 1986. MM es NWOBHM en estado puro, con fuertes influencias de Saxon, pero con la suficiente personalidad y calidad. Clásico British Steel de los 80 del cual formaron parte.

“Generally speaking all albums’ songs could have been in any Saxon’s album from 1999 and further. It’s not only the vocals. Guitars are modern enough and remind in ways Maiden especially in the brilliant “The Wise Man Of Roklar”, but everything is Saxon-based, but not in a bad way. And I mean that. The great thing about MM is the excellent chemistry between their members”.
