Avskräckande Exemplar fue el tercer y último trabajo completo, editado por la maquinaria sueca del Grindcore Splitter, fuertemente influenciados por Nasum. 21 tema plagados de furia y técnica, batería super rápida, solos muy elaborados y originales punteos de guitarra, acompañados de buen sonido, duro como el granito, mientras el vocalista nos ataca con admirable intensidad y velocidad.
Splitter enriquecieron el Grindcore tradicional, a través de variadas influencias y ciertas innovaciones, dotando a sus composiciones de un sonido moderno y contemporáneo.

The songs are bone crushers with battering brutality and some alternative (core) layers that deliver an odd kind of songwriting methods and chilling surprises in the form of breakdowns; it’s not all about the tight execution and shivering violence, the band was smart enough to add irregular patterns and twisted time signatures as well, so it’s a really big mix of Metal crafted only for really hard ears.”
