Después de la publicación de varios Splits y Ep’s, Summoned From Beyond es el album debut de los Black / Death Metal alemanes Sacrilegious Rite. El Lp incluye ocho lúgubres temas más intro y outro. Las partes lentas e inquietantes, envueltas en niebla y azufre y rodeadas de un aura mística aumentan los aspectos espeluznantes sin quitarle protagonismo a las secciones más rápidas, algún tema combinan riffs Thrash y blast beats con elementos de Groove y Doom.

“The riffing is varying from very fast and ferocious to dragging and hypnotic. The lead guitars have a certain melancholic and very sinister vibe and are used as binding elements between the different sections within on track. There are also a few impressive solos with a slightly crazy vibe but generally speaking the guys put more emphasis on creating an eerie atmosphere than impress with their instrumental skills. The drumming is more on the blackened side with a relentless and pummeling tone lending the music a bit of a chaotic nature.” Metal Archives 90/100
