Wisdom Of The Dead es el álbum debut de los alemanes Grimoire de Occulte. El Lp incluye cinco sombríos y monolíticos temas más una oscura intro, más de cuarenta minutos de ritualista Death Metal impregnado de Doom o viceversa, nos transportan directamente a principios de los 90 con su sonido analógico crudo, sepulcral e ingrávido. Severo enfoque musical, repetitivos riffs y cánticos gruñidos en inglés y aleman que parecen antiguos conjuros presidiendo ritos prohibidos.

“jestem urzeczony Wisdom Of The Dead. Riffy są na tej płycie odpowiednio ciężkie, posuwiste, pozbawione jasnych barw, utrzymane w dość wolnych tempach, choć jak na doomowe standardy wcale nie leniwe. Tylko czasem pojawia się umiarkowane przyspieszenie, żwawsze uderzenie sekcji – zwłaszcza we fragmentach wieńczącego płytę Tempest. Największe wrażenie robią tu gitarowe tremola, przemycające nieśmiało złowrogie melodie, oczywiście ciągle wpisujące się w undergroundowo-grobowe kanony.” Kvlt 8,5/10
