The basis of the music is a viscous stream of very raw and filthy riffs accompanied by a relentless and devastating rhythm section. Each song has trademark chords that are hitting hard and that are presented with just enough variation to keep things fresh enough over the whole playing time. Abatuar mix brutal, raw blast beats, with slower filthily depraved sections, while also exhibiting some old school grindcore influences here and there. Due to the sheer darkness that these songs pour into the world the music can’t help but adopt a slightly blackened approach on occasion. Metal Archives 89/100

“Being labelled as Bestial Black/Death, Abatuar dish out a chunk of primal Grindcore, genre Terrorizer/Blood/Defecation, combined with raw blast beats, extremely down tuned guitars that create a filthy chainsaw sound and quite disturbing murky bestial growls. The overall ambiance on the album is utterly dark, foreboding and bestial satanic.” VM Underground

“Was man hier bekommt, ist wunderbar ruppiger, energiegeladener und kompromissloser Black/Death Metal mit mittel- und südamerikanischem Einschlag. Songs wie „Sanguinary Execution Of Despicable Individuals“ und „Schizoid XYY Sexual Trisomy XYY Disorder With Murderous And Necrophiliac Impulses“ stehen stellvertretend für das zehnteilige Gemetzel, es wird also verdammt heiß unter dem Zylinder.” Power Metal 8/10

“The razor-edge guitars by Yigo ignite the sulfurous Death and Black Metal feast titled Ritual Nigromante Por Medio De Profanación De Cámaras Funerarias, while Cadaver basically regurgitates the song’s dark lyrics and smashes his drums manically, followed by La Muerte Ha Llegado, Todos Lo Pueden Ver, Atare Tus Manos Hasta Que No Puedas Defenderte, another bestial, old school display of Death Metal infused with Grindcore elements where Cadaver sounds utterly demented and enraged on vocals, and Sanguinaria Ejecución De Individuos Despreciables, a venomous headbanging tune where Cadaver’s insane blast beats are nicely complemented by the scorching riffs by Yigo.” The Headbanging Moose 3,5/5

“It blends the characteristic Latin American style from bands such as SARCOFAGO, CHAKAL and ATOMIC AGGRESSOR, some “War Metal” tinges and Cadaver’s detailed vision. “Mortandad” has a solid and dense Death Metal foundation with traces of Black Metal found in the violent blast beats and even fast Thrash Metal segments. It is a compact album; a sonic storm that grabs you and doesn’t let go for 30 minutes. Besides mainman Cadaver on drums and vocals, “Mortandad” features two guest musicians:” Voices From The Darkside

“Brief and to the point, all ten songs are suitably filthy and putrid-sounding, dirty doom and murk delivered with a healthy hint of Grind, ‘Mortadad’ a punishing, remorseless and unforgiving journey through the darkest depths of the human mind. Equal parts Napalm Death, Black Witchery and Necrophagia, this sure is some sick Central American butchery.” Swallowed In Black 666/666
